Archiving jobs
Applies to: All programs
One of the most frequently asked questions is along the lines of "How do I archive my jobs so in the future it will still be able to find the images and templates in case I need to reprint anything?" Here is one solution.
The software will always look in the following folders for images, templates and referenced graphics provided the job file (tnj) and the folders are in the same directory. These folders will be searched regardless of the File>Options>Paths entries.
- jobname#images
- jobname#templates
- jobname#graphics
where jobname is the name of the tnj job file.
When archiving the job simply create the three folders above, copying the images, templates and graphics into their respective folder. Then proceed to archive these folders together with the job file.
