Duplicating an image

The Duplicate Image feature should not be confused with the Duplicate Subject function discussed in the article: Duplicating a Subject.

Duplicating an image creates a new thumbnail/preview of the currently selected image or images. The duplicate image can then be used independently of the original. For example it can be cropped differently to the original as needed for a specific product.

Notes on duplicating an image

• The duplicate image is automatically matched to the same subject as the original
• If a primary image has not been explicitly set, the duplicate image will become the primary image
• Cropping and image editing from the original image is reset for the duplicate
