Does anyone know if popup modal boxes with CSS is possible?

Like when you enter your shoot key, a popup window will show before you can interact with your images and packages. I've played around with it a little bit but haven't had any luck.

In your example you wouldn't be able to do it with CSS alone. For this some JS would be needed at our end to trigger the popup when a shoot key is entered.

We've had some clients asking for a pop-up window that automatically comes up when a customer accesses the storefront after entering their shoot key. They want to put relevant information for the customer. The idea is, since it's a popup they have to click through, they're more likely to take the time and read the information.
