I'll start things off! What is tsPortal and why can't I find any information on it?

This may sound like a naive question, but what is tsPortal? I've seen this referenced for the past year or so, but I'm still completely in the dark on this one. There's no information on the Timestone wesbsite about it. I've unfortunately never atteneded a training seminar, so maybe that is where all the information has been shared.

Is it a seperate piece of software? It's not on the products page. Is it built in to a piece of software and I've just been oblivious to this fact? From what I've read it sounds like it could be very usefull for our workflow. Help!

Yes, we have mainly covered tsPortal in the training seminar. In fact at the last meeting in SFO we devoted quite a bit of time to it with one of our guest speakers showing us how they use it in their business.

tsPortal is a 'portal' we have written using FileMaker Pro to connect to your timestone database (along with two other db's we create for you with tsPortal). You use it to see a whole lot of reporting and financial information - at the subject level or job level or season level or account level or right at the order level.

You can also use it as a task manager, adding tasks to a 'to do list' giving them priority, sending the task to a particular staff member or department.

That's it in a very small nutshell. hopefully some of the people using it can elaborate and tell you how they use it.

Is this something that would allow the office staff to find out if we printed an order for a particular student? We often have to stop what we're doing and open up an sql job to answer a question for the office.
It would be great if questions like package, background and pose printed could be answered without Neopack itself.
