I am trying to update a database on an IPod and I keep getting an error of device not responding after4x3 tries. I had this problem last year as well but I would just keep trying and eventually it would work. I have tried multiple times with this one and nothing is working.

    Hi Lindsey,

When you say update that means that iBase was successfully put on this iPod in the past, correct? Could the iPod be going to sleep while the data is transferring?

Yes the Ibase was put on there last year and I am trying to update it. I had the same problem last year and I just have to sit and do it over and over until it finally goes. I finally just got the two updated that I needed but it has literally taken me from noon until now to get it.

It could be the Windows Firewall. Make sure it is off if this happens again.

But in any case the new iBase mobile which is now in the app store helps with Firewall issues.
