With the updated chromakey I'm having greater problems than use to.
The background will not clean up as well.
Forground will not clean up as well as the old version.
Spill/mat is not as clean.
Also the auto function background function is not functioning.

We are having a similar issue. I'm looking at this girl's shirt and no matter how much I drag the cursor around, it will not fill in. Similarly there are grey areas that just flat out won't clean up. It's like my clicks aren't registering or something. The worst part is, after saving in 4 and reopening in 3, I now have the same problem on that file in 3. It's really bizzare, and CRIPPLING.

I would like to know if I can go swap between the old and new version if required.

OK, if you want to roll back the chroma key to the previous version while still keeping version 4.2 of the software just run this

    http://timestone.com.au/bin/private/ksxPrimatteV1.exe

I'm having trouble with this install file. Has anyone else had it run successfully on Win XP?

I keep getting write protected, or "file in use" errors, on multiple computers.

Ryan, make sure all timestone programs are closed down when you run it. In fact close down all programs.

If the problem persists please send screen grab so we can see exact message

Considering the concerns I've heard about the new chroma, I will be rolling that back right off the bat as I am updating to 4.2 now.

    Questions:
    A) Will having some terminals on the old and some on the new primatte cause printing issues? (I'm guessing probably)

    B) Do you have a ksxPrimateV2.exe for us or will reinstalling 4.2 do the trick to "roll forward"?

    a) I don't think it will but this hasn't been tested

    b) Yes, installing 4.2 will overwrite the older dll that the patch installs
