Can column headers be added to the definition of an export?

    No this can't be done.

They wouldn't be column headers as such since the export is a plain text file not a CSV which was opened in Excel to neatly display columns. Instead it would just be an extra row at the top.

I have the need for the first row in an export text file to be the names of
the fields in that same position in each line. That is what I meant by
column headers. If the text file is opened in Excel they would become the
column headers. How can we achieve this?

tsPortal might help with this as it has a built in Excel export
