We are having a problem with computers locking up and the only way to get control is to go into Task Manager and stop the program. Do you have any suggestions about this? It has happened on new computers. In the process we are losing images completely and/or they are not recorded in the TNJ database. The only thing I can think of is that the computer is losing communication with the camera and scanner. We have to check each TNJ in relation to the number of images before we can merge the individual cameras. If you have any help on this I would appreciate it.

Make sure you're computer is using our driver and not Window's generic driver. It sounds as though Windows is taking over the camera when you plug it in. To dissable this go to the Control Panel>Scanners and printers and for your camera set the option to "Do Nothing" when the camera is connected

Are you using a hub? Sometimes a hub will become overpowered and the five volts supplied to it will not be enough to run all the items plugged in. See if you can have the higher powered things like the camera or the scanner plugged right into the computer with the lower powered things such as the dongle plugged into the hub. The other way around this is to use powered hubs. Try this and let me know if it helps.
